Last Night..

yesterday,
returning from
an engagement
at night,
in an auto, and
while speaking on
my mobile phone
I keeled over and died...
my eyes saw
and the mind tried
to comprehend this
sight..
no heart-beat,
or flimsy breath
inside..
the ghostly me
now filled with delight
soared above the
traffic-light
and higher still
towards
clouds, moons..
till I
disappeared
out of sight.
